Description
This is a new character that I created after being very inspired by
AlectorFencer's character the plat spirit! I loved her whole concet with an elemental feel, and since i've been doing a bear theme lately i thought i'd play with some elements myself.
The story behind this is basically instead of just hibernating like a normal bear he becomes rock in the winter and with the coming of spring returns to being a regular bear to help things grow and flourish
it's a grizzly version of Okami hahaha
anyways...
It's done in watercolors on plain paper (no texture
) but the scan was horrible and pretty much erased the light green and blue wash i had in teh BG so I applied a little color in photoshop
like most of my new characters i can't think of a good strong name for him...any ideas ?

As long as he's in a safe spot, turning to stone might be better than hibernating. :3
