Disney Princess Contest

This is my submission for the newest disney club contest where we are asked to create a new disney princess that hasn't been done before.

About the Art:
Before everyone thinks i was lazy and sloppy...i want to make it clear that i left this image sketchy and unfinished looking on purpose ....I wanted it to look a little soft and sketched because it is such an old story.


Now people who watch me here on DA will understand that I've been hopelessly obsessed with polar bears lately...so i thought i'd create my princess as follows.....

About The idea:

I thought why not an arctic princess (no not like brother bear 2)...so i did some research and found an old Norwegian fairytale a lot like Beauty and the Beast, about a prince who is transformed into a polar bear by and evil witch and must find love to break his spell! (There is also a really old movie that was made too if you want to know more) The princess in both the movie and the book have no name so i took the liberty in naming her Klara which in Norwegian means bright and clear. I just thought it fit.
